Lyrebird Falls sits in the evergreen forest of the Dandenong Ranges, about fifty minutes from Melbourne. Towering trees, ferns and running water are the setting. The difference couples talk about afterwards is the care: one wedding on the property, and coordinators who stay with you from the first visit to the last song.
You have the chapel, the gazebo, the gardens and the dining room to yourselves. Up to 120 guests. Nowhere else on the day.

Ceremony
Three ways to say it.
Choose the chapel, the gazebo, or the garden. If the weather changes, the ceremony moves indoors without leaving the grounds.
01 — The chapel
Stained glass, and the trees beyond it.
Named Victoria’s best ceremony venue for two years. Mirrored walls, daylight, and a quiet room that photographs as if it were built for the forest outside. This is also the wet-weather ceremony, so the day does not depend on the sky.
02 — The gazebo
An aisle through the ferns.
The ornate gazebo is set in the garden and lit when evening comes. Guests walk the blue-stone path, past the waterfall, with music already playing in the trees.
03 — The garden
Photographs the forest will keep.
Between the ceremony and dinner there is time in the grounds: the bridge, the fernery, the stream. The property is closed to every other event, so the portraits are unhurried.
Reception
Dinner, with the forest in the room.
The dining room was rebuilt to face the gardens. After dark, the waterfall and fernery are lit, and the glass becomes part of the table.
Floor-to-ceiling glass, handcrafted timber, and a floodlit waterfall just outside. Guests take pre-dinner drinks on the deck, then come inside for a generous three-course menu. Colours, layout and flowers are arranged with you. A coordinator hosts the evening, from the first meeting through to the end of the night.
Seventy to one hundred and twenty guests. Exclusive use of the whole property.

Victoria’s Best Reception Centre in 2006, 2010 and 2011. The chapel was awarded Best Ceremony Venue in Victoria for two years running.
